The OMP Hobby M1 V3 Pro is a 100-size micro collective pitch helicopter that packs a serious flight controller and integrated ExpressLRS receiver into a package that weighs just 112 grams ready to fly. At that weight with a 297mm rotor diameter the disk loading is extremely low, which translates into a floaty, responsive feel that works for beginners and 3D pilots alike. OMP took the well-regarded V2 platform and rebuilt it from the ground up for the V3 Pro.
OFS3+ Flight Controller and ELRS Built In
The OFS3+ flight controller includes a fully integrated ExpressLRS receiver so there is no separate receiver to mount or wire. It covers 3D mode for inverted and aerobatic flying, self-leveling for learning, and a rescue mode that rights the helicopter automatically if you get disoriented. Full PID access is available through the companion app and firmware updates push over the air. Telemetry comes back to your transmitter in real time, and for pilots already on ExpressLRS with a Radiomaster or similar transmitter the bind-and-fly experience is seamless.
New Motor, New Tail, Better Flight Times
The R23X-2 brushless main motor paired to a 2S 400mAh 50C LiHV battery delivers 20 to 30 percent longer flight times compared to the V2 without losing punch. The R11X-2 tail motor uses a keyed APEX 27 propeller that locks positively in place, reducing slippage and noise over push-fit designs. The hollow carbon fiber tail boom is lighter and tougher than the previous version, which matters when learning 3D and occasional ground contact is part of the process.
Who It Is For
Self-leveling mode is stable enough for a first-time heli pilot to hover and build muscle memory. Rescue mode acts as a safety net while confidence builds. Flip it into 3D and the same airframe handles tic-tocs, funnels, and inverted circuits. The APEX 125 main blades are stiff for aggressive flying and durable enough for normal knocks. Available in Cosmic Orange, Solar Yellow, Nebula Pink, and Aurora Green. At 112 grams it flies comfortably indoors or in a small backyard, opening up flying days a larger heli would sit out.
